On the left you can see a prototype of the TDZ Stallion we had made in highest density PU (best quality available) with extra glassing. Ian rode the board about 3 times. On the right you have our production TDZ Stallion in Apple Tree construction with PET inlays. Ian rode this board about 40 times.
The difference between the 2 boards is amazing, performance wise both boards work great but esthetically the PU board doesn't look nice anymore, on top it's super fragile and brittle. Unfortunately this is inevitable with PU boards. In the unique construction the TDZ Stallion is built, invented by Apple Tree Surfboards we guarantee a dent free deck in the foot area thanks to our PET inlays and the Hexfusion Technology, don't worry about landing hard after an aerial. The board itself is probably the lightest on the market and at the same time the strongest with a high long lasting quality thanks to a special injection procedure in the foam. It offers a fantastic flex (like PU) that give you this great sensation and comfort when riding the waves, and isn't that what we're all looking for!!? Last but not least the TDZ Stallion keeps a very good resale value thanks to her specific construction, contrary to any PU board which is practically not sellable anymore after good use.
